Given the heat and humidity in Singapore however, it may be more comfortable to take public transport, even if it is only a few stops. See the table below for the closest MRT stations and entrance gates for each grandstand. Be patient when leaving the circuit, as some gates (particularly for the Bay Grandstand) and paths can get congested. MRT services are extended to 1am on Grand Prix weekend.

Race organiser Singapore GP and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) are committed to making the
Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix one of the most environmentally sustainable street circuits on the
Formula 1 calendar.
Some initiatives include using renewable energy sources to power parts of the Circuit Park, converting
food waste into compost using biodigesters and trialling energy-efficient LED track lighting. Solar panels
will also be installed on the roof of the Formula 1 Pit Building by July 2023.
To further highlight its commitment, Singapore GP has appointed Faithful + Gould to produce a Carbon
Footprinting Report that will measure the carbon footprint within the Circuit Park’s patron experience
zones. Results from this report, which will be audited by Tüv Süd PSB, will be used by Singapore GP to
develop a Carbon Management Plan that will guide and enhance sustainability efforts for the race over
the remainder of the seven-year term.
